Get Into Your Sanctuary – This national program, developed by the Office of National Marine Sanctuaries, promotes the sites for their recreational and tourism values. Sanctuaries offer a mix of opportunities to experience these ocean and Great Lakes treasures. Get Into Your Sanctuary days are scheduled at the end of July and/or the beginning of August. Check the Calendar for Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary events or go to the national GIYS page for events across the system. An annual GIYS photo contest runs from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day
