2016 Marine Art Contest
There were 915 entries in the 2016 Massachusetts Marine Educators Marine Art Contest, representing 10 states (although the majority came from Massachusetts). Artwork was judged on creativity, technique and accuracy of artwork in complying with the contest theme of "Marine Biodiversity of Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary." Winning artwork and several of the honorable mentions have been framed and are now part of a traveling exhibit that will tour public venues from September 2016 through May 2017.
In addition to the division winners (High School, Middle School, Elementary School, Scientific Illustration and Computer Graphics/
